Baroque Print Fashion Fall '12

The Baroque is a period of artistic style that used exaggerated motion and clear, easily interpreted detail to produce drama, tension, exuberance, and grandeur in sculpture, painting, architecture, literature, dance, and music. The style started around 1600 in Rome, Italy and spread to most of Europe. - wikipedia

Fabergé patterns embellished with a needlepoint by Balmain

Baroque print returns when Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana set the stage with capes, black lace coats, dresses, and skirtsuits embroidered in metallic gold thread flora patterns. I was browsing at Fall Fashion Trend for 2012 and totally in love with the detailing from Dolce & Gabanna and Balmain. Art is applied to fashion and also influence by military silhouette. The baroque pattern are usually wore by the Western European Royals to show their status in their country. It's time to get back all your military inspired clothing and start needling a masterpiece!
