Have you ever wonder how do you define yourself in this urban lifestyle? Whether it's fashion, art, music and etc (Exciting)! DEFINE- Urban Recipe To F.A.M.E is an upcoming event featuring a series of pop-up events that allows you to freely express yourself thus empowering them to truly DEFINE the party.

To kick off it's first out of 5 events, DEFINE will be starting with an "Art Jamming Party" which is based on one of key urban indulgence: Art. This 'Art Jamming Party" will kick off on Sunday, 15th September 2013 from 4pm to 10pm. Oh yeah! Let's join the fun with our Malaysian artist splashing paint and party in style. This event will be held in collaboration with several well-known artist in Malaysia, such as Ernest Ng (Art Artist), Haze Long ( Art Artist) and Patricia Knudsen ( Music Artiste). It will be Art-istic! Bring on the Art In You!

Art Jamming On Wheels

"Paint? Ready! Brush? Ready!"... Canvas? What about Canvas On Wheels? Perfect! The event invites you to create an art piece together with artists Ernest Ng and Haze Long on a "mobile-canvas". The "mobile-canvas" will be cruising on the streets, showcasing the final artwork of self-expression around Malaysia. Experience the "Art Of Blending".

Art Artist: Ernest Ng

The author of one of the most popular web comics in Malaysia, "Bro, Don't LikeThat La Bro." – Ernest made a name for himself by publishing hilarious tales of the mischiefs and shenanigans of himself and his housemates. His attempt to embarrass his best friends to the fullest landed Ernest multiple features on mainstream media and recognition including winning the Digi Blogger Of The Year 2012 award. He will be at DEFINE to zest in his flavor of urban indulgence through the mobile canvas and you can get a chance to be drawn by him as well! How cool is that to be drawn and featured on his blog?!

 

Art Artist : Haze Long

One of the founders of Art Misfits, Haze has done multiple art projects and her works have gained much recognition over the past years from the mainstream media. She has worked with Dulux, Starhill, Carlsberg, IACT College and many more. Haze will be collaborating with DEFINE to inject her sense of urban indulgence through the mobile-canvas.

The CORKTALES Session

 

Are you tired of parties serving you conventional drinks and sometimes not even to your liking? DEFINE will be bringing in YOUR flavor of drinks to the party. Shout out your favorite drink, and how you would make it uniquely yours, with your own recipe. Include your story behind how you discovered or concocted your unique drink. You will stand a chance to have your drink named after you, to be featured in this event. Express yourself through your drink and have everyone else in the party to enjoy it.

My favourite cocktail drink is Whiskey Soda. However, I add in olives just like how James Bond adds olives into his drinks because I do not like Martini.

My favourite cocktail drink is Hendricks Gin which is usually served with tonic and cucumber or lemon. However, one day at a friend’s house party while rummaging through his fridge that was lacking those fruits, I threw in sour plums instead and discovered it creates a more exotic taste!

If entry is selected, the selected Guest i.e. Mrs Smith will be invited to fine tune the drink with a mixologist. The drink will be named Mrs Smith and will premier in the event for everyone to have a chance to try it.

Music Artiste: Patricia Sue-Lin Knudsen

One of the finalists of Miss Universe Malaysia 2011, a model, TV and radio Presenter and also a DJ by profession, this multi-talented beauty will be dedicated Master of Ceremonies and also DJ for DEFINE - Urban Recipe to F.A.M.E. Besides being the emcee for DEFINE, Patricia will be entertaining party-goers with her DJ skills. For DEFINE, Patricia promises a delicious mixture of indie and nu-disco tunes to be enjoyed by party-goers.
